There are currently two vacancies at Union Chapel, both with The Margins Project.

 

Job Title: Project Manager
Responsible to: Margins Board of Trustees
Purpose of job:

To oversee the smooth running of The Margins Project and its services

To ensure that the direct access services (winter night shelter, drop-ins) are being managed well and running smoothly

To manage, run and develop the Café Training Programme, art and framing groups

To manage and run the Volunteer Development Scheme

Hours: 22.5 hours/week including one Saturday a month and some other evening/weekend work
Salary £28,000 - £30,000 pro rata

Job Title: Services Coordinator
Responsible to: Project managers, The Margins Project
Purpose of job:

To manage and run the direct access services smoothly and efficiently 

To support service users towards recovery from homelessness, providing advice and signposting to other agencies as appropriate 

To provide developmental opportunities for service users within the project and with project partners

Hours: 22.5 hours/week including evenings between January-March and some weekend work. Ideally, the candidate will work at our drop-in every Sunday until 20 December from the date of appointment. Beginning January 2016, the candidate will run and manage the new drop-in services within the working week.
Salary £23,000 - £26,000 pro rata
