Disabled Parking

There is no disabled parking bay outside Union Chapel, but Blue Badge holders can park

  • in resident bays, and pay and display bays for an unlimited time

Please check full details on the Islington Council website and for local parking bays please use www.parkup.com (search by postcode N1 2XD).

Information for Bands and Daytime Hirers

Please read through the above information carefully as Union Chapel has no parking of its own.

We suggest you book in advance with one of the Private local car parks or purchase a Permission to Park notice from Islington Council.

Application for Permission to Park
- Permission to Park notices are available for any contractor working in Islington. They provide all day parking in resident bays, business bays, and pay and display bays (not single yellow lines). Note that parking bays cannot be reserved in advance though.

Load in and out happens at the back of the Chapel on Compton Avenue where it is single yellow lines. You should be fine if you are actively loading - just keep a watchful eye for roaming parking wardens!

Coach Parking

Union Chapel does not have its own parking area. Highbury Car Park is now closed.
Please contact Union Chapel Venue office for more information about coach / tour bus parking - email admin@unionchapel.org.uk
